Solar Wolf Energy Blog
The Solar Wolf Energy Blog is a place for us to share our thoughts and opinions about the Solar industry, the movement to adapting clean & renewable energy, and news about our incredible company - Solar Wolf Energy Inc.
It seems if you are in the solar industry almost each morning you will find another solar company is buying or partnering with another. To the untrained financial eye this may seem like a good thing. However those of us in the industry and have the financial foresight know better. Often times it is because one of the companies need to be "propped up". As with the solar companies the solar lease model specifically it is essentially a legal Ponzi...Ted "The Wolf" Strzeleckiread more
Here's how Solar city & Tesla just proved to everyone they have no real long term vision. The vast majority of SolarCity's customers are leases. SolarCity touts how they can put more panels than needed on the client's roof and sometimes offset their bill. Okay, but the financially intelligent (and often capable) folks didn't lease their solar, they bought it. So they will be the purchasers of batteries. Chances are Solarcity pissed off these...Ted "The Wolf" Strzeleckiread more
It seems that oil is staying lower for longer. Can you remember when everyone thought that low oil would crush the solar industry? Seems like everyone was instigating that "Low oil is the end of solar". Wow were they ever wrong! If anything it has HELPED the industry by homeowners not trusting it, helping solar companies pay less at the pump for work and installation company vehicles and heat their offices for less. In the days of the "recycled toilet paper", "This cup is made from 70% recycled paper", zero landscaping, devices creating drinking water from sunlight, caged free eggs, Whole Foods, & the war on GMOs the renewable energy issue seems to be right at home in the middle of this. Mainly solar being the front runner of course. When you look at all this things as a whole it makes sense.Ted "The Wolf" Strzelecki

In a not-so-surprising news break last week we learned that ticker SUNE better known as SunEdison has filed bankruptcy. Those of us in the know, in the industry, or just investors saw this coming for months. You can't wildly spend and keep increasing your debt only to think nothing bad will happen.Ted "The Wolf" Strzelecki
I have to say as a financial guy myself, how did the board and management let this happen? It was so undeniably obvious there was no way with the debt ...read more
As an individual immersed in solar I often venture over to the informed folks over at Greentechmedia.com each day to stay abreast. True to form in this and like any other industry there are always foreclosures and bankruptcies. Lately there seems to be a common thread with solar companies in the recent weeks and it is time someone pull out the BS meter and let everyone know its way past pegged. This ration of "We blame the industry we couldn't...Ted "The Wolf" Strzeleckiread more
