What Does a "NO" Mean In Solar?

During thousands of visits about solar power to homes or business and countless conversations there are times when a “no” is necessary. Sometimes these responses are mine…and sometimes they are the customers. I personally like them. I will give you a little background to help you understand why.
Since 1984 in some way I have been trying to put bricks in a wall. That wall is a defensive wall for my children and for the coming generations. I see every solar project I complete as one more brick. In an uncertain world I have added one more piece of financial stability to the family I am dealing with. In a changing environment I have added one more control on the ever increasing concern for our world. I have put in many bricks. Solar Wolf Energy has put in countless more. Each of my customers is agreeing to help build that wall. Solar Wolf Energy picks up that brick, lays that mortar, aligns it with the others and taps into place. Solar Wolf Energy’s work is to make it a functional and integral part of that wall. We do a good job.
That wall is hardly complete. To be honest the foundations are laid and setting up. The wall is higher in some places than others. Solar has so much room to expand. There is much more work to be done. We are committed to that wall.
What does this have to do with a “no”? Well if we say no there is a reason for it. Solar Wolf Energy has some of the best product, best financial services and best technicians in the industry. So if someone were to find a good path forward for solar where others might not it would be us. The “no” that we give has weight. I have had a customer look at me and say “If you do not do it I will find someone who will.” That customer has a commitment to that environmental wall and wishes to be part of it. It does not matter how large that brick is. They want it placed. We understand. If you wish to be part of that wall we will help.
When a customer says “no” I understand. We are not you. In a short conversation it is difficult if not impossible to understand the entire world that customer lives in. Is there a tax situation I do not know about? Are there future plans we have not discussed? Is there anything else that bears weight on our discussion? We respect you. Many times that “no” leads to a larger discussion that reveals a truth we needed to know. Many of my customers have become my friends. Solar Wolf Energy’s customers become part of our family. In every case we lend our respect to you.
